Lisa Kaufman, Marketing Manager

Lisa is a Baltimore native who feels a strong sense of community and passion for her hometown of Baltimore. For college, Lisa spent 4 years in another great city she adores, New Orleans, where she attended Tulane University and graduated with a degree in Mass Communications. Lisa spent the early part of her career working in Media Buying and Account Management for a few large Advertising Agencies in Baltimore City, working with clients such as, AARP and Maryland National Bank. In 1992, she joined husband, Jonathan Kaufman, DVM at his newly purchased Veterinary Hospital (Eastern Animal Hospital) where she worked in the reception area, hospital management and special projects for the next 10 years. While raising 2 daughters, Lisa also had some part-time jobs, her favorite was with a travel company that led trips from Baltimore to NYC, to see Broadway Theatre. In 2014, Lisa pursued another interest of hers and became a Real Estate Agent working for Berkshire Hathaway Homesale Realty. Not only does Lisa get to help people find their dream homes, but she also enjoys selling “Baltimore” and the many unique features this city has to offer. Upon the opening of the newest Eastern Animal Hospital facility in April 2019, Lisa re-joined the management team at the hospital, as the Marketing Manager, bringing her full circle. So whether it’s Baltimore, Houses or Eastern Animal Hospital, Lisa loves marketing and promoting the things she is passionate about.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, either at home, vacationing or in their respective cities of NYC and LA. She enjoys biking with Jonathan in northwest Baltimore County, playing tennis and taking walks with her French Bulldog, Willow and Standard poodle, Tilly.
